Shipping Policy
Every order is packed and dispatched from our US fulfillment center. Salt lamps are hand-carved from solid Khewra rock salt, so they are heavier and more fragile than most parcels of their size. We pack them accordingly.

We currently ship within the contiguous United States only. If you are in Alaska, Hawaii, or a US territory, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Order on the weekend and we will process it on Monday, so the delivery clock starts from there.
Express orders placed before 2pm on a business day are dispatched the same day and typically arrive within 1–2 business days. Placed after 2pm, they go out the following business day instead.
You will get a dispatch email with tracking as soon as your parcel is on its way. If you have ordered several items, they occasionally arrive in separate parcels.
We hit the stated timeframe the vast majority of the time. Occasionally something outside our control gets in the way, such as weather or a carrier delay, and if that happens we will contact you as soon as we know.
Our larger lamps are solid rock salt and weigh a great deal more than the box suggests. If anything about your address makes delivery awkward, such as stairs, restricted parking or a narrow lane, add a note at checkout or email us before you order.
If nobody is in, your carrier will follow their standard procedure and leave a card or attempt redelivery. Repeated failed deliveries can result in the parcel being returned to us, and the return carriage cost is passed on. A quick heads-up beforehand saves everyone money.
Every product is inspected before it leaves us, but salt is a natural stone and carriers are carriers. Open your parcel as soon as it arrives and check it properly before you put it anywhere or give it to anyone.
- Unpack over a soft surface. A lamp that slips is heavy enough to chip itself or your floor.
- Check the lamp, the bulb, the cable and the switch are all present and undamaged.
- Keep the original packaging until you are certain you are keeping the item.
If your order is a gift, please order with time to spare and unwrap it yourself first. We would much rather you found a problem than the person you are giving it to.
We cannot offer compensation for a gift that arrives later than you hoped, so during busy periods such as the winter holidays and Mother's Day, order earlier than you think you need to.
We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, and you will not pay return postage when the fault is ours. Send photos to support@thehimalayansalt.us.
You can cancel any time before your order is dispatched. Once it has arrived, you have 30 days to return it.
